On the occasion of the upcoming National sovereignty and Children's Day AKKUYU NUCLEAR JSC organizes a children's drawing competition. The contest will be held at the national level - children from all over Turkey will be able to take part in it; as well as in the province of Mersin - the region of construction of the first nuclear power plant in Turkey – Akkuyu NPP.
Children aged from 6 to 14 in two age categories, from 6 to 10 years old and from 11 to 14 years old, are invited to take part in the competition to be held from 1 to 15 April 2021. In each age category, five winners will be identified, who will receive drawing sets and souvenirs from AKKUYU NUCLEAR JSC, as well as the right to take part in a one-month online drawing course.
The participants' drawings will be rated according to the level of their technical performance, artistic expression and compliance with the theme of the competition. More than 100 young artists from different regions of Turkey took part in the competition.
