The Minister of Energy and Mining of Alger Yusef Yusfi told that the first nuclear power plant in the country would be built by 2025. “We are intending to have the first nuclear power plant in 2025, and we are working on this project” – noted the Minister. He also added that the recently established the Nuclear Technology Institute will train engineers and technicians to operate the plant.
