Study on an exchange basis for Brazilian students suggested by Rosatom


The Training Program has developed for the countries where Rosatom has operating projects, is planning to build NPP and other nuclear facilities. This year the company has enlarged the list of beneficiary countries; besides Brazil the students from Argentina, Bolivia, Mexico and Cuba can take part. The students will be able to study in Moscow in the National Research Nuclear University (MEPhI), and expand their knowledge in one of the most important world center in the area of nuclear energy. The Program starts this October and aimed at University graduates or postgraduates in such disciplines of nuclear energy like physics and nuclear engineering. It lasts three years: one year is dedicated to learn Russian, and two more – to get a master degree in physics and nuclear technologies. The diploma will help in students’ carrier promotion in the nuclear industry which includes not only construction and operation of NPPs but also covers nuclear medicine, ecology, agriculture etc.
