The Manege central exhibition hall in the center of Moscow is hosting the cultural and historical exhibition “70 years of nuclear industry. The chain reaction of success”, which is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Russian nuclear industry. During the month of the exhibition various events are planned on the basis of it for school pupils and students, children and adults.

On September 17, the information seminar is planned for the Turkish students of the National Research Nuclear University “MEPhI” who are going through the specialist training program for “Akkuyu” NPP. The topic of the meeting is “Safety systems and special features of the Russian NPP project in Turkey”. The students will listen to a talk given by deputy CEO – “Akkuyu” NPP design director of the unified company JSC NIAEP – JSC Atomstroyexport – JSC Atomenergoproekt (part of the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom) Andrey Kuchumov. He will be speaking about the project of construction of the first Turkish nuclear plant and answering the students' questions. The event is to be visited by the representatives of the key mass media of the Republic of Turkey. The operations director of AKKUYU NUCLEAR JSC Igor Bogomolov will also take part in the seminar.

The exhibition space is conveniently divided into a number of topical exhibition areas which add up to a single complex of spatial architectural installations dedicated to the main stages of development of the nuclear industry. The creators of the exhibition have used modern technologies thanks to which the visitors will be able to feel involved in the events and people about which the exhibits tell them. Besides that, the guests will learn about the modern state of the industry and perspectives for its development. A large number of rare exhibits were brought to the exhibition from the museums and archives of the nuclear industry enterprises, including those which had never before been exhibited in the capital of Russia.
